Those whose abstracts are selected by the conference scientific committee are encouraged to submit their full paper to a special issue of Healthy Buildings Conferences 2025 Indoor Environments, the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate's new and only official journal. Indoor Environments has been accepted for indexation in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), a unique and extensive index of diverse open access journals from around the world
Papers will be presented on-site ONLY during oral and poster sessions. Posters will receive excellent exposure during the on-site conference platform, where they will be presented both with a pdf of the poster and a short video presentation. Authors will be asked to confirm at the paper submission stage if they intend to present the paper as a poster or presentation.

Prepare an informative abstract of up to 250 words based on the study. The abstract should provide information on the original research questions of the study, the methods and procedures used to answer them, the main results, a succinct interpretation and discussion of their significance, and concluding remarks and generalizations from your results. The abstract should be a self-contained statement giving readers a clear overview of what they can expect in your full paper. (Leave one blank line before all new headings throughout)
KEYWORDS
(Select up to five terms or brief phrases, which describe the content of your paper. Phrases should not contain more than three words. These words should not be identical to words used in the title of the paper.)

Workshops
We welcome proposals for workshops related to the conference themes.
Please provide a description in no more than 600 words in English, detailing the subject, target audience, potential workshop chairpersons, and required facilities
Workshops are limited to 90 minutes in duration
To foster discussion and interaction, at least 50% of the allocated time for each workshop should be interactive
Due to program constraints, we may suggest modifications, such as combining similar workshop or practice session proposals.
Review & Selection Criteria
The abstracts will be evaluated by an international expert panel in a single-blind review procedure. Acceptance or refusal will be based on criteria such as quality of content, significance, originality, relevance, and clarity of expression.
The programming team of the scientific committee will take a preliminary decision on acceptance and the presentation framework of the contributions (oral, poster) based on the reviewers' recommendations and as a function of programming constraints, to be confirmed subject to the full paper meeting expected standards.
The authors of accepted abstracts are encouraged to submit full-length papers. It is voluntary, not mandatory.
Indoor Environment (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/indoor-environments), the official journal of ISIAQ, will publish a special issue focused on the Healthy Buildings conferences in 2025.
This special issue will include contributions from participants of Healthy Building 2025 Europe and Healthy Building 2025 Asia, the two official conferences of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ). The ISIAQ’s Healthy Buildings Conference Series provides a platform that bridges the gap between indoor environment science and practice.
We welcome contributions from all relevant topics of indoor environments. Multidisciplinary scientific contributions will shape the future of building sustainability and occupant health/comfort.
Participants of the two Healthy Building 2025 conferences are encouraged to submit both your work to be presented and your other relevant work to this special issue, prior to and after the conferences. For research work not presented in the conference, the first author or the corresponding author of the submitted manuscript must be a participant of one of the two conferences.
If you wish to have your full paper considered for publication in the special edition of Indoor Environments, please submit your full paper directly to Indoor Environments, and mention the paper is meant for the Healthy Buildings 2025 special edition. You can also submit through the submission platform, i.e., MeetingHand software. Your paper will be evaluated by the journal editorial team, and their decision will be independent of the conference committee evaluation.
